| Flipped my second dirt hit - 02 July 2006 |

 Last Saturday I took a drive up to sunny Newcastle for a ride with latest crusty team mate Chuck Norrig Norris,
He and Chad Towers have been putting a lot of effort into their compound up in Newcastle and have come up with a nice selection of ramps and dirt hits to jump, as well as a decent foam pit.
Among the dirt hits Chad had built this 85 ft uphill step up that only he and his bro had jumped beforehand.
After Chad showed me how he hit it looked pretty simple, there was a bit of a crowd round, few cameras, ya know? So I decided it was time to attempt my second dirt flip since the one at schuies that time.
With a few alterations to the lip to take the kick off it and a number of run ups I had a go and it all went pretty smooth really. I flipped it about 6 -7 times getting 1 hand off and a small nac until I got cross rutted on it and nearly come a cropper. I decided that was enough for the day.
I am keen to see how far I can flip and am currently looking for a 3rd gear hit to make the next step.
